According to reports from THR and Variety, Captain America: Civil War actor Robert Downey Jr. has finalized talks to appear in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Homecoming is the first film of a joint partnership between Sony and Marvel Studios. According to Variety, Robert Downey Jr. has joined the slowly-growing cast of Spider-Man’s first solo movie in the MCU. No details were provided about how big his role will be or what exactly he’ll be doing, though the article notes that Downey and Spider-Man actor Tom Holland had "great chemistry" in Captain America: Civil War.

Jon Watts directs the film based on a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, while Marvel’s Kevin Feige and Sony’s Amy Pascal are jointly producing as part of the studios pact to include the character in the MCU. In addition to Holland, Marisa Tomei will play Peter Parker’s Aunt May, Disney channel star Zendaya will play someone named Michelle, Laura Harrier (One Life to Live) will play an unspecified role, Tony Revolori (The Grand Budapest Hotel) will play Peter’s friend Manuel, and Michael Keaton will play the villain, while some rumor claim the comic book baddie Vulture will make an appearance.

At least one thing is clear that Tony Stark will be walking away from the Civil War with his life.

Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters on July 7, 2017.
